FREE SURFACE INTERVAL TALKS
Experts to give free talks
|

|
Off-gassing makes no allowance for bad weather - but what better way to spend your surface interval than by listening to fascinating talks give by some of the world's most experienced and knowledgeable divers! We're arranging talks on everything from record-breaking deep dives, cave and deep wreck expeditions, conservation and even the science of keeping warm this winter!

We're finalising an exciting programme for the winter months including - in no particular order - Phil Short, Mark Ellyatt, Richard Stevenson, Fourth Element, The Shark Trust, The Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society and the Marine Conservation Society. We kick off with Jim Standing from Fourth Element on October 21st who will be revealing the secrets of how to keep warm as the water temperature drops.

GO TECHNICAL WITH PHIL SHORT
IANTD training at Vobster Quay
|

|
The IANTD Advanced Recreational Trimix course in November is now fully booked, but we will be running this again in the New Year. As an incentive to delve into the benefits of technical training, we've teamed up with IANTD Instructor Trainer Phil Short and Delta P - developers of the sensational VR3 mixed gas dive computer - to deliver what we believe is a package of exceptional value.

The four-day course costs £275 - this price also includes a heap of sugar-coated benefits including a free years membership to Vobster Quay and the chance to buy a VR3 Open Circuit Trimix computer at the very competitive price of £650! For any diver interested in diving a twinset beyond recreational limits, this course is a must...

NIGHT DIVING
Our monthly night dives have proved to be very popular this year with lots of members discovering how relaxing a post-work dive can be. We're planning to keep them going throughout the autumn and winter months so make sure you scribble the first Thursday of every month in your diaries!

NOTE - Our next night dive is on the 4th October
