   Welcome to Vobster Quay - the UK's friendliest inland diving centre! Whether you're a certified diver wanting to experience the thrills and excitement of fresh water inland diving or you're completely new to the sport of subaqua diving, Vobster Quay has something to offer.
For certified divers, there's no better place to hone your diving skills and have fun than at Vobster Quay. With 36-acres of fresh water diving in depths ranging from 6m to 36m, divers of all levels will find the heady mix of exciting underwater attractions and a full range of diving support services hard to resist. Submerged beneath the lake waters you'll find a fascinating array of attractions just waiting to be discovered! Divers can explore the wreck of an large commercial aircraft, a 42ft motorcruiser, the large metal wheelhouse of a former coaster plus a number of former quarry buildings including the massive crushing works - a towering structure the size of a 2-storey house - and even a spooky concrete-lined subterranean tunnel that's not for the faint hearted! Vobster Quay is open five days per week during the times listed below. Although we are not normally open on a Tuesday and a Wednesday, we can open on these days under prior arrangement for groups of 10 divers or more. Please contact us if you'd like to book Vobster Quay on either of these days.
 Diving at Vobster Quay offers excellent value. Unlike traditional diving centres, we don't charge 'per dive' - you merely pay an entry fee onto the site and for the rest of the day (normal operating hours apply), you're free to make as many dives as you desire. Below you'll find details of the entry fees. Please note that these fees are subject to change without notice. For regular visitors to Vobster Quay, we offer entry at a discounted rate via our Quay Membership Scheme. For just £30 per year, members gain access to a host of special offers and promotions including a reduced entry fee of just £10.00 per day. Click HERE for more information on the benefits of becoming a Quay member... All visitors are required to pay a £10 deposit upon entry. Upon receipt of your deposit, you will be issued an entry 'tag'. This tag allows us to monitor the number of visitors to ensure that all visitors are safely accounted for when the site closes. Your deposit will be returned when leaving the site upon return of your entry tag. For dive instructors accompanied by four or more students, we offer FREE ENTRY (conditions apply - please read carefully). Note that all students must pay either the standard or registered day diver entry fee and the instructor must submit a group booking form completed in full in order to qualify for this promotion. On the first Thursday of every month, Vobster Quay runs night dive evenings for divers who wish to take to the waters in the darkness of night. Please note that divers visiting site on a day on which a night dive evening is scheduled must pay an additional entry fee if they wish to stay on after the site's normal closing time to take advantage of the night diving opportunity.
